UPS and Teamsters have stalled over contract negotiations. A strike by UPS will likely begin on July 31, which will affect the shipment of books.
And it totally isn’t fabricated by the Big 5 to push summer book sales and make a huge profit.The awarding of the Booker Prize has been moved. The six-title shortlist will be announced on September 21, and the winner will be named on November 26. This means it will occur after the National Book Awards (November 15), and like the National Book Awards, the Booker Prize will have the distinction of garnering no attention whatsoever.
Britney Spears is set to publish her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me’, in October this year. This is not to be confused with her other upcoming memoir, ‘The Dicks I’ve Had in Me’, which will be published next April.
